The Anglo Zulu War - Isandlwana: The Revelation of a Disaster Hardcover – December 5, 2017 by Ron Lock( Pen and Sword)
The Anglo-Zulu War has attracted a great deal of scholarly attention resulting in the publication of many fine books. Indeed, Mr. Lock has previously made valuable contributions to the subject. Do we need yet another book? Yes, because the author has taken a different tack. Where was the Zulu Army on the night before the battle? Perhaps, most intriguing, is whether Chelmsford was away from the camp, because of chance and poor judgment or was he cleverly drawn away by the Zulus? The author does not pretend that every issue can be resolved, but he brings them into focus
