Fighting Fantasy:The Warlock of Firetop Mountain Paperback – August 3, 2017 by Ian Livingstone and, Steve Jackson (Scholastic Childrens Books) (IBRChildrensBooks)
This is the best "choose your own adventure" style book I have ever played! I remember playing this book when I was a kid and 30 years later I remembered it, found it, and bought it for me and my son to read. When I was a kid, my dad played it with me. I would describe this book as more fun than a franchise "choose your own adventure" book because you get to roll dice, fight monsters and collect items that are valuable along the quest. I was never into dungeons and dragons enough to make up the story myself, so this was a perfect fit for me. My son and I loved it, we mapped our way through the dungeon and almost beat it!...maybe on the next try.
