The Laws of B'rachos, A comprehensive exposition of the background and laws of blessings (Artscroll Mesorah Series) Hardcover by Rabbi Binyamin Forst (Author), Rabbi Aaron D. Twerski (Author) (Artscroll, Mesorah Publications Ltd)

This book makes learning what the laws on Brachos are very easy to understand. my only real problem is that it does not give you the text of what the brachos are for example in the back of the book their is a list of food and it only says for example for Bread you say "HaMotzi" but it does not give you the full brachah. so if you do not know what to say you would be a loss. I do like the book though. I would suggest it to anyone!

This book consists of about four parts:

1. The actual text (12 chapters; 316 pages; 26 pages per chapter)
2. Appendix of proper B'rachot for foods;
3. Glossary (transliterated Hebrew terms, defined);
4. Bibliography (a listing of the voluminous sources used in compiling this book);
5. Index

Of the structure of the book:

1. The text is written with the sources as footnotes (rather than at the end of the chapter or the end of the text) and directs the reader to *very specific* places within the source texts for further study;
2. There is a summary of each chapter at its end. These summaries could be read one after another to give a 45 minute or so overview of the whole book. The book is such that it can be read as: Main idea (summaries)--> Moderately detailed explanation (the chapter in its entirety)--> Very detailed explanation (going to the primary source from which the point was derived).
3. The appendix at the back serves as a quick guide for the many types of things that you might need to know in the course of a meal but don't want to go through the whole Shulchan Aruch from beginning to end to find it.

Verdict: I bought this book at the price of about $25 (plus shipping). At that price it's worth it, and I strongly recommend this book. I do note that I bought the last copy at that price and that the price has gone up to about $50+ per copy. At that price, I am not sure that it is worth it.
