48 Liberal Lies About American History: (That You Probably Learned in School) Paperback – August 25, 2009 by Larry Schweikart ( Sentinel)

This is an interesting book of facts that unfortunately the young people of America and the Students in our Colleges and Universities of "mental and immoral manipulation' and "factual deprivation" are never exposed to. The left and the small "d" party and their partisan slave masters and plantation owners ensure that generation after generation remain intellectually challenged and the Media and Entertainment industry and political hacks who are certainly the "Enemies of Truth" do not want truly education voters only puppets of their own ideologies. It is sad that these facts, presented in this book - do not get disseminated to the vast majority of the masses. And instead the Mobish left wing anti-american hate mongers keep their followers fat, dumb, poor and foolishly loyal by preaching lies. To have a robust conversation about Keeping America Great - one needs all the facts - but our young people and those brainwashed by partisan rhetoric are instead keep in the dark and within the ranks of the Socialist who are doomed to destroy this country from within. Abe Lincoln warned of it and the left is making it happen. A long read - but a significant one. Going over what I did not learn in school because I am older than the author so I learned the truth. Today only lies are taught about america and our history is lost in the chaos of the so called progressive (but really regressive) movement. Over the last forty years, history textbooks have become more and more politically correct and distorted about our country’s past, argues professor Larry Schweikart. The result, he says, is that students graduate from high school and even college with twisted beliefs about economics, foreign policy, war, religion, race relations, and many other subjects.

As he did in his popular A Patriot’s History of the United States, Professor Schweikart corrects liberal bias by rediscovering facts that were once widely known. He challenges distorted books by name and debunks forty-eight common myths. A sample:

• The founders wanted to create a “wall of separation” between church and state
• Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation only because he needed black soldiers
• Truman ordered the bombing of Hiroshima to intimidate the Soviets with "atomic diplomacy"
• Mikhail Gorbachev, not Ronald Reagan, was responsible for ending the Cold War
America’s past, though not perfect, is far more admirable than you were probably taught.
