+In this day of excessive and exaggerated verbal blather, Dennis Prager has the rare ability to pack an enormous amount of thought-provoking meaning into an economy of words. Nothing overly abstract, academic or excessive here in this brief volume, his most recent book. At just a tad over 100 pages it powerfully demonstrates how the Ten Commandments distill the moral lessons of all human history into ten easily-understood precepts that are very short on words, yet exceedingly long on experience. Readers can randomly open this book at literally any page of text, and be both intellectually challenged and greatly inspired. The best book I've experienced so far this year. In my opinion Dennis Prager is one of the most profound thinkers and authors of our time.
What a great world, country, community and family we would have if all of us would and could recognize there is something (someone) greater then us, deserves our adoration, asks that we don't adore "anything" more than Him, do nothing that soils His name, rest completely one day a week, honor those who birthed you, fed, clothed and protected you, then.... don't murder anyone, be committed to your wife only, tell the truth, don't take anything that doesn't belong to you or pine, desire, covet somebody else's stuff!
Dennis, thank you for helping to make God's words even more clear then He makes them. You are a treasure! May God bless you, your family and all that you do.
