Simply Delectable Paperback – October 1, 2002 by Sharon Glass (Graphic Arts Books) (IBRCookBooks)

When it comes to entertaining friends, we always want to serve them something either they have never tasted before or thought of preparing it for themselves; that is not easy to do in practice. However, after spending half an hour going through our cookbooks on our shelves, we came across SIMPLY DELECTABLE by Sharon Glass. Quite frankly, ever dish that we prepared turned out to be just delectable.

The recipes in this book are very easy to follow. One must be really bad or hopeless cook for these recipes not to turn out well. The Mushroom and Ricotta Canneloni, The Soy Glazed Rack of Lamb and Macadamia and Chocolate Wafers were our guests' favorite during their week long stay. I have to point out that, being dark chocolate funs, we used extra dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips when preparing the wafers, and I think that really improved the flavor of the recipe.

This collection of simple and elegant recipes is ""Simply Delectable!"" The delicious dishes in this easy-to-use cookbook are for cooks who want to create good food, quickly and easily, using the best and freshest ingredients.

From hors d'oeuvres to dessert, well-known chef and former Hollywood caterer ""Sharon Glass"" offers easy, creative ways to craft scrumptious meals. Feast on decadent Duck with Cherries, spicy Thai Red Chicken Curry, or savory Salmon Cakes with Avocado Butter. Create a light lunch of Mushroom Cappuccino Soup and Slow Roasted Beet Salad. Tempt your tastebuds with sweet treats: Fruity Ginger Trifle, Layered Chocolate Ice Cream Delight, Easy Apple Tarts with Caramel, and more.
