The Salt Companion to Diane Glancy (Salt Companions to Poetry) Paperback – February 12, 2010 by James MacKay (Salt Publishing)
This collection of critical articles was the first-ever attempt to assess Diane Glancy's prolific and multi-faceted literary production. It seeks to address the full body of her work before 2010 from a variety of perspectives. recognizing the controversy inherent in her identity as a writer both Native American and Christian. These articles will provide a basis for discussion of the work Glancy continues to publish. In a 2007 interview included in the volume, the editor posed worthwhile questions that elicited good answers. The bibliography of Glancy's work was extensive but not complete--though this effort may be proceeding online. I share the editor's hope that this collection will facilitate well-deserved critical attention and further study.
